Sorry for my late reply. For some reason the problem I had was actually copying or “releasing” a vector mask from a shape layer. I found this tip on this place which worked greatly (scroll down to Releasing vector mask from shape layer:

“For example, you have vector shape, and you have group of layers. You want to add that vector shape as mask to group. In CS5 you’ll just drag mask to the folder, in CS6 there’s no “mask” element on layer. Instead, to release mask from vector shape layer you’ll need to click on vector shape layer with holding ⌘ (ctrl on Windows) and drag it to your group.”

That’s it! I found the adjustment layer in PrP! I was expecting it in the right-click menu on the timeline as you have it in AE.

Sorry for getting so late back to you. Your trick actually worked! it took me a while to figure out why it wouldn’t let me precomp with “Leave all attributes in” (I had both layers selected while trying to pre-compose).
So yes – your’s is the answer!!

Vishesh: I see your tip. Thanks a lot. I would use it for a more intricate movement. Thank you for help!

Vishesh: Thanks for the tips. I tried replacing all the timeline with an AE composition from PrP but it took forever in AE to have the clips available. Specially the ones already replaced by an AE.

Tom: Thanks again – I used to do that while working with Final Cut Pro but in my slightly unorganized project might have proved a pain if i would try to replace all of them.

I ended up nesting all the clips in one big clip on PrP and applying color correction to that one. In my case it solved dealing with each clip separately on the timeline. Again i used this method while working in FCP.

Why don’t they have an Adjustment Layer in PrP?
