thanks guys, I guess I’m gonna have to experiment I’m gonna go and buy a bunch of different gels, frost, skin tone etc… all depends on the subjects too, so I guess it will be a onsite experiment. I always use gloves, got burnt too many times 😉

Thanks, same here I’m not a big fan of hard light, but so compact and fast to setup, mostly for a last minute press conference.

I’ve received a list of authorized dealers from the Greater Toronto Area, and was surprised that there’s only 4 of them, and 2 of them always overprice their merchandise.

That’s true, I got burned a few times buying used, last time was a parametric EQ I paid $100 for it and cost me the same in repair.

I really need to find a reliable and affordable place in the States, forget about buying it in Canada, the price difference is ridiculous.

The thing is, by judging the difference between getting it from the US and Canada is almost $500, from the stores that I know in Toronto.

I’ve seen a good deal on ebay brand new for around $2400 with some extras.

Would you guys buy a used one?
