most of my clips I change the speed on at different points to sync the events in the video to points in the audio. I could do 4x + add a velocity envelop and set at 100%, or 2x + 200%. I assume the resulting quality of the video will be the same?

Thanks for the script, I will try it out this weekend. The commenting is very helpful also, thanks.

Another question: is their such a thing as an audio velocity envelope that will work similar to the video version?

If you don’t mind scripting some of this that would be awesome. I don’t know how to script.

Thanks for the Production Assistant suggestion I will check that out also.

oh and i’m currently using vegas 8 Pro.

You could of course use a velocity envelope on the clip + motion blur and see if it looks ok at all for your tastes.

in VV6c I have a max of 1024MB allowed, but i have 3GB of ram. i would like vegas to use at least 2GB (windows app max)
