Ok, as is typical, I found out how to do it as soon as I’d posted the question!! You just click the outline button to ‘off’ in the text formatting strip. I’d assumed it was just for a thin black outline to each letter, but this can be used to fill the text box background.

I do – however – have a follow on question which I’ll post separately.

    Hi all,

I need to do this too, but in DVDA. I can’t work out how to do it.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks,

    So – I’ve found one thing…

On that background music track I was talking about, if I switch automation off, the little diamond thing in the panner is 100% at the centre front speaker. So I moved it back a bit and switched the automation back on again. Now there is some from the rear channels too. But this merely seems to indicate to me that the automation is being ignored during the render process for some reason???

Please – if anyone has an idea for me, let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is what I’ll do too. It’s just that I’m looking for a bit more precision regarding your “up under zero”. Plus, because there are some much louder parts at the end, if the voice is “up under zero”, then these later sounds won’t be able to be any louder relative to the spoken parts will they.

6x definitely exists. I’ve not personally seen anything faster though.

    Example of 6x is https://www.blu-ray.com/TDK-BD-R25AC/318/

I second the Cineform recommendation. I too was having similar issues using Canon 5dMkii files. Once converted (losslessly) into .avi files using cineform the evil hag woman became a gentle and expert lover.

Use the other tool. The one with an arrow in a little box.

Did anyone come up with a plug-in for this? After all, it’s very simple to remove in photoshop/lightroom on stills.
    Thanks,

  • Excellent. Thanks a lot Jefferson. 🙂
