The KONA has no fan and makes no noise.

    What perfect timing.

I wanted a Kona 3 for our new suite, and the best price I found we 2,200.00.

I guess I’ll be ordering the Kona 3G instead.

    Thanks

    Never mind

    OWC is selling 8GB DIMMs

    A bit pricey.

How are you getting 64GB of ram in there…

    Who is making 8GB DDR3-1333 PC3 DIMMS?

    Thanks

    Hi Bob

Have you installed any of the 12 core machines with Kona-3 and Atto-R380 cards? Any driver issues?

    Thanks

  • I stand corrected, Gary.

There is the option the add setup to the composite out, I was mixing my outputs.

  • It is 7.5 not 10, and it is usually in the setup playback preferences of the HDCam deck

    I stand corrected.

The AppleProRes file does not appear to be interlaced.

The DVCPro50 File does appear to be interlaced.

I will report this to Apple.

    Thanks

    Daniel

The File ProRes file must be Standard Def Interlaced LowerField for distribution.

It appears, visually, to be interlaced because every other line of active video is offset form the previous line, the very definition of interlaced.

Can we focus on the issue at hand? Compressor does not set the Field Dominance value in the meta data for the file when the source file is DVCPro HD and the Destination file in ProRes.
