We do not have a K-Box, our cable runs are under 30ft. AJA feels that less thank 30 feet no K-Box required.

The Kona-SD works fine, we would like the KONA-2 to just drop inplace on the KON-SD.

We do both long and short form.

A single crackle in any progam could casuse us hours of “re-do” time. This is unacceptable to us.

Is anyone else still having the audio crackles?

Is anyone else seeing unstable video during capture?

Can you expand on this?

In February, we converted one of our systems over to the KONA-2, but we had to revert it back to the KONA-SD because of the audio crackle issue and a video stablilty issue during capture.

We have two KONA-2 cards sitting on the shelf wating on improved drivers. Rudy at AJA says these issues are all addressed by the 1.0.5 driver. Is this not the case?

We are about to convert again… Should we hold off?
