Thank you both for your fast reply. I think this a big downside of FCPX. I like it because of it’s intuitive handling and because of the speed.
But this is a big problem for me. I don’t understand why for example Plural Eyes creates a whole new Event with compound clips of your sequence…
but there is no way to do in an other way then shift f. Shift F only works with one clip and i got like 50… I don’t know which NLE to choose.
I dislike Premiere because of some difference (used to cut in FCP7) and also there is no ctrl+d to change the duration…

I’m still open for suggestions. Thank you anyway.

Well I tried Media Manager but strangely enough it does not work.

Any other suggestions? Cant be so hard.

Thank you very much, but at the moment I’m using FCE so I don’t have the Media Manager.
Are there any other opportunities?

Okay I get it. I’ll just use another HD and that’s it. I’ll let you know when the movie is finished. It’s about the German capital city Berlin.
Why does every post has to be checked by a moderator that doesnt really save time does it?!

At the moment I’m having big problems with capturing it, because there are some frame skips and Final Cut interrupts all the time. It seems that i have problems with playback head or something.
But it doesnt really change on the other camcorders. That’s really annoying but i guess I have to live with it too.

Thanks for the replies but I really think .dv is an ugly format its old and chubby.
And I rather work with any smaller format than with 3 gig file. Is there really no possibility?
