    Thank you.

I mean DV video preview (not PC monitor preview).

I think it should be trough fireware. Maybe using a monitor with fireware input (I don’t know if that exists), Or maybe using a DV camera with fireware input and HDMI output (I wasn’t able to do it with my camera, maybe I have to change some settings in Vegas)

I just want some ideas on how to preview DV video.

This is the response I just got from MainConcept:

“Thank you for your request, our DV Codec is very old. We don’t support Windows
7 or newer OS. Last OS Version we support with our DV Codec is Windows XP”

Therefore, I will continue using ‘Cedocida_0.2.2’ DV codec.

    Thanks Steve,

I have being delivering recorded DV tapes to broadcast for a couple of years.

I have read a lot in this forum about about color correction and Glenn Chann’s articles. But I am still not OK with the results I get when I render using Vegas DV codec.

I recently discovered ‘Cedocida_0.2.2’ DV codec. According with my experience, It worked with Sony Vegas better than Sony DV codec.

That is why I am try to test the trial version of main concept DV codec. I installed it in my PC, but I don’t know the container to use it in Vegas rendering. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Michal,

Do you know about JHM Presets?

They are very effective filter packages. There are several that make what you need (Antiguo B/N, CinePro, etc)

Here you can download the presets and read about how to use them:

April 11, 2012 at 11:45 am in reply to: Titler Pro for Vegas Pro 11

I am working with 6 cores, 24 GB RAM and the latest video drivers. And still Titler Pro plug-in doesn’t work at all.

It seems It may work in some PCs, but in others not.

Therefore the application is not stable yet. It definitely is not ready for release as a ready version. It should have been released as a beta or even alpha version, because it is far from been finished.

I downloaded the last build of Titler Pro and it doesn’t work either.

Titler Pro causes Vegas 11 to crash every time you drag it to the time line.

I opened a ticket with New Blue fx a long time ago and they don’t have an answer.

So, if you are planning to upgrade to Vegas Pro 11 in order to use the New Blue fx, don’t do it. It’ll be a waste of money.

    My system:

    Vegas Pro 11.0 build 595 64bits
    Win 7 Pro SP1 X64
    i7 3.33 6 cores, 12 logical processors
    24 GB RAM
    Available virtual memory: 45 BG
    ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
    Catalyst Version 12.3

The last answer of NewBlueFX Customer Support:

    That’s all!
