    Dude,

You rock. I did forget to mention the version, sorry about that. But just as predicted, it was 7, and I threw out the update folder and ta-da! It worked.

Thanks so much, I appreciate the help!

You may have already gotten this figured out, but there are some posts later in this forum where folks are having the same problem. There is one on July 1 that sounds like the same problem that has a solution posted as well.

    Hope that might help.

Oops… I meant to mention that I am running Photoshop 7.0…

I know, I know… update my Photoshop… But, outside of that, any thoughts?

eBay is not a bad idea. Though it is a bit of a crap shoot. If you look in the back of a lot of the trade magazines, there are places that buy and sell used equipment or individuals looking sometimes. Just a thought! Good luck!

  • Have you tried trashing your preferences? And/or updating your quicktime and FCP from the apple site can help as well.

Just a thought, it worked for me when my FCP suddenly decided not to export mpeg2’s at all.

Is the logo something that has a lot of “holes”? Or is it a solid square type of thing?

Ok… I trashed the FCP Preferences and tried registering the QT. FCP still isn’t giving me the option to export mpeg2?!?!?!

    HELP!!! Any other ideas?

Like someone to do sound design for you? Or software that will do it? If you need a good sound designer, I can reccommend several that are quite good.
