Hi Dan,
when I highlight layer and target footage, actually here another comp, and right click on comp in proj win, the replace footage item is grayed out …https://files.2he.com/uploads2/2013_03_26_23_00_38.jpg (insert image just uploads my image to nirvana)
when i try the alt drag comp from project window onto pre-selected layer in comp, the content becomes empty … nothing there to show any more.
Is there a way to exchange footage of layer with another comp ?

November 8, 2011 at 12:08 am in reply to: Exporting video produces other font than in previewya getting out of hand this stuff, AE must do it for now. I just pre-edit everything in Premiere, due to rock & roll and just exchange the text parts with side-productions from AE which has no real time here on the computer i use. tx for all detailed info and solution ideas, helped to cut down lot of testing time … maybe Todd can check this also with Adobe if there still is a bug there.

November 7, 2011 at 9:13 pm in reply to: Exporting video produces other font than in previewI just made another test and made a rasterized photoshop text png with alpha and … crazy but true, the same problem occurs as well with a rasterized text. robably means that the anti-aliasing engine settings in my premiere are not ideal. reminds me of something OpenGL or else realtime engine. checked project and preference settings but didn’t find anything about anti-aliasing settings or render engine settings … I’m kinda stumped with the whole, probably just a bug.

November 7, 2011 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Exporting video produces other font than in previewok I tried to use an opacity animation and the funny thing is that now it even does not anti-aliase correctly on top of the image fading in. ya probably rendering the text first is the right solution as long as premiere ha this bug.
I have tried out after effects now and there fortunately it works fine … guess I have to use it

November 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm in reply to: Exporting video produces other font than in previewHi Mike, exactly, it is an aliasing problem. I came across something funny though, when I’m fading into another picture, then the portion of the scene where there is the overlapping with another picture, is anti-aliased correctly ! You need to click on the picture to see it full size to see the aliasing problem.
as it seems the horizontal effects anti-aliasing, in terms of video tracks, is working while the vertical effect is not.
and then the brightness of that fading in picture at this time-code is way brighter as it needs to be and is shown in the preview :
I tried out rebooting but unfortunately it didn’t work for me.
Which version do you have and 32bit or 64bit Win or Mac ?
