you are right adam… no need to bake… in my case the solution was to use the mograph displace object… that i found very useful and powerful..

in fact i simply need a way to put a color spectrum texture (or shader) of a modelized (a part of skin) to simulate the wrinkles “steps” from lowest position (blue) to upper position (red) surface

the model is ok and validate by the client… (it’s a part of a human’s head skin + wrinkles”)

i just need a way to easily colorized my model…

my goal is to obtain a topographic colored texture… a graphic vision of wrinkles…

a spectrum from blue to red (blue is lower, red is higher)

ok i will try to be more clear dave…

i got only one ae project (indexed by episode of the 15 mini-films i work on)

but this project file (the 05) is huge,

it’s a 231 Mo ae file with multilinked graphic files (ai, psd) etc..

so it is too long now to open, save… etc…

how can i export a comp (or several) with all the footages linked…

an import it in another ae lightweight project ?

cos i need that to be more efficient…

how can i do the trick ?

i got 450+ comps on a my project and i now i need to check every single !! with all the surprises (child, parents, etc… lost precomp… )

no way to put that ability on ae CS4 ? please…
