Thanks for the input. I’m not a modeler. I’m an independent filmmaker. I primarily use Cinema 4D as part of creating virtual sets and as inputs to After Effects composites. Though I have long experience with AE, my C4D experience is more recent and from books and tutorials. The “kit” I created the morgue from came from Unity and I added model parts from other sources therefore the texture paths are a bit off. I think your recommendation to rebuild the model is the best idea. It was helpful to know the problem was not in the render settings. Thanks.

With regard to the brightness differential, I’m having a similar problem. What makes this so frustrating is that I am using the same lcd monitor for both the Premiere program monitor as well as to view the encoded mpeg file after output. The picture within Premiere is nicely balanced but when viewed in media player after encoding, it’s dark and muddy. I have two lcd monitors and both exhibit the same results. The differential is so great that it is impossible to figure how much to compensate in Premiere so as to normalize the final. And I don’t know where to look. Is it Premiere? Media Encoder? or Media Player? I’m not at a stage where I can master a DVD or Blue Ray so I can’t test that. Does anyone have a thought about how I can get a handle on this?

Hmm. You don’t have gaps on FX tracks between sound effects? We’re not editing on a Steenbeck with blank leader between the FX. Excuse the film referance.

That’s not necesarily an answer to the problem. I have a project that is currently 14 minutes on the timeline. I have 89 Gb of conformed audio.

  • I’ve experienced the same error. Is there any error log mechanism that could give you a clue?
