Unless I am mistaken ( it’s been known to happen ☺ ) USB headsets are what you would use mainly for gaming or Skyping. If sound quality is important to you (as it should) get yourself a more than decent pair of quality headsets that you can plug directly into your soundcard and doesn’t need to go thru an unnecessary amount of quality reducing gates. It is worth the expense.
There are numerous forums where people have commented and tested a ton of different headsets.
Unfortunately, people have neglected the audio side of video editing. Bad or so-so audio will reduce a great video final product to the level of, dare I say it, just OK video.

As stated in my previous post, you can’t upscale a 4.2.0 file. The jagged edges are there to stay.
That being said, using a software like Hitfilm will have a positive effect on your final result since it has, in my humble opinion, a way better chroma key engine than Vegas. But as I said before, it’s always better to start with a higher quality product in order to get quality results.
Viewers are more inclined to go for a quality product. The better your product, the more viewers you will get. As time goes by, those viewers are more and more discriminating.

I have a feeling that you are still using a Vixia HV40 or something similar.
There lies most of your problem with green-screening . The vast majority (I suspect all) of consumer grade cameras have a color sampling of 4.2.0.
Colour sub-sampling harks back to the early days of colour TV transmission. The eye is more susceptible to tone rather than colour. Therefore all digital colour information is overlaid on a high-res black and white (low bandwidth) image.
The pattern system used to overlay the colour information on the B&W base image is known as sub-sampling.
If you want to save time and grief, I suggest that you get yourself a camera that can shoot in 4.2.2 This is the highest quality for a decent price that you can achieve for finer keying and colour correction.
Keying with 4.2.0 material will produce ragged edges – especially if lit badly.
Once material is shot 4.2.0 it cannot be up-sampled to, let say, 4.2.2 (don’t even think about going 4.4.4) via a codec because the underlying sub-sampling pattern remains unchanged.

In short, if you start with better original material, the less you have to tinker with it whether it be chroma keying or colour correction… or anything else for that matter.

What OS are you using ? Win XP, Win 7, Win 10, Pro, Family, etc.
By the way, not a good idea to render on the same disk as MVP. Use another drive, internal or external.

Follow Ole’s instruction, but if you are looking for maximum compatibility, change the 25,000 fps to 24,000 fps. Sometimes there are cross platform issues with sound not being in sync. (mainly Blu_rays, they do not technically support 25P, but they support 50i, which can contain progressive 25fps content. If you are only using it on Youtube then it shouldn’t be a problem.

There are many ways to do this. This is one of the dirt cheap and easy ways. Don’t be afraid to explore the possibilities of your MVP. This one was made in less than 5 minutes by applying a mask to 2 of the 3 same video tracks and adding the TV Looks effect.

That’s a funky creative way to do it but My feeling is that there are way to many signal conversion going on. If you can get your hands on an older model VCR, the ones that had a manual tracking adjustment knob and a ”Video Stabilizer Unit” (They use to sell those way back when they first came out with anti-copying protection for VHS) I works somewhat like a ”Timebase Corrector’‘. I found mine at swap meets and secondhand stores for next to nothing.
Those are the 2 things I use on a regular basis plus a Hauppauge 166.
You can get those for dirt cheap since analog is not the ”in”thing anymore.
