This is not “Help” per say but advice that if you got the Free Windows 10 upgrade, you CAN downgrade back to Windows 7 within 30 days of your Windows 10 Install date. Your PC will be allowed to go back to Windows 10 later as Microsoft keeps your PC data on record.

If Sony Vegas worked under your previous version of Windows (and I’m assuming you had Windows 7) you can then downgrade back to your previous version.

The “other” option is to perform a Reinstall of Vegas especially if you did the free upgrade option that ended 7-29-2016.

For Whatever reason I was finally able to access your link and download those files (for a short windows of 5 min). Thank you very much. I have now incorporated those missing files under the specific folders. I updated each missing.txt file with credit to you for finding those specific files.

I have recently updated this archive with additional files I have found. If any user has files listed under the Missing.txt file (under each folder name) and you would like to share this file, please let me know so I can include it in this archive location.

This is totally unofficial but something I wanted to do for sometime. I am hoping that users of particleillusion find it useful.

Good to hear you on this forum and Yes it is very sad. Your Tutorials and webpage for us pi users is great and still used today. I really hope Brian Fox gets GenArts to consider this open-source or continue to update it. I remember reading updates from Alan (in the past) that talked about version 3.5 and 4.0 to fix issues and bring other features in.

I guess my question is, could MAGIX not just have the same forum format as is? When Sonic Foundry sold to SONY in 2003 they kept the same format and the only thing that changed was the URL.

I would still prefer to have the “clean” look to the original Sonic Foundry – SONY forum.

I wonder if Markcus can be contacted through Daz3d to see if he is still willing to sell Smooth Running Gun to users of pi3. I still could not find this author from another website.

I think that only works with the special link they provide you in the email. I could be wrong, but so far I have only seen that limited offer via e-mail. If you registered your software with SONY previously, you should have gotten an email from MAGIX. Check your spam folder just in case.
