If you mean that you want your layer to loop 10 seconds, just interpret your source file in the project window (CTRL-F) and enter the numer of times you want it to loop.

Maybe I wasn’t clear. when you want to view a Quicktime file, you can double-click on the file in your project window. AE opens a media player window with a PLAY button. So you can play the video as well as if it was Quicktime player, but inside AE.

I’ve been working with After effect for 5 years now. It’s always been working that way.

So my problem is: when I do that now, AE doesn’t open the media player window anymore. It opens it like if had made an ALT-click. Another workstation where I work has not that problem. It’s the same machine, same version of AE.

Any clue?
