  • Are you saying there is a way to achieve this effect with the text animator? I couldn’t figure out a way.

  • That worked- Thanks Max! Seems like there would be an easier way using the text animator, but I can’t figure one out if there is.

    Cheers!

Thanks- I was afraid of that. Seems to work fine, just not very pretty.

Thanks Matt- you’re on to something. Double-clicking the file seems to append an exit; command to the end, not sure why. Any ideas why?

Anyways, I didn’t know about the ./ trick (wasn’t mentioned in the manual anywhere) so I learned something new. Thanks man!

Very helpful- thanks Todd. I’m sure Adobe’s proud.

Thanks- I’m not sure if you read my post. I’m getting a command not found error. Do you have any explanation for why I might be getting that? I’ve read the documentation already- that’s why I posted the question.

Not sure if anyone is still following this issue, or has solved it, but I’d love to figure out the email script doesn’t work. I’m using with Road Runner, using my authenticated username and password. Seems like they would allow it, if anyone would, but the script still gives me an error:

    Unable to send email
    500 5.5.2 unrecognized command

Anyone still here and figured out how to get a javascript email to work?

    Thanks!!!

  • Yeah I was afraid of that. I’ve been racking my head, trying to come up with a workaround but so far to no avail. I usually code in Flash/AS3 so I was assuming too much (or too little).

If anyone comes up with a workaround, I’d love to hear it. I’m trying to run a counter based off the current (time) property but the counter needs to be resettable- that’s the rub.

    Thanks

    Hey Peter-
Thanks for the response. It adds a red rectangle over the image if I do it with a pre-comp containing the corner pin. Turning on Collapse doesn’t help. I’ll try simplifying the project and sending it over to you guys to see if it’s just me.

I’m on Mac Powerbook (latest gen) with CS3 and the latest RSMB.

    Thanks again.
