Thanks Matt. I willl keep you updated. The idea what indeed to have all clips playing, but maybe then I should forget about the ‘dimming’ and just have them play off in normal light. The button itself will then be the differentiator.
Thanks for yr help!

Thanks you both for your input! I will try the options mentioned, and as last resort, try to distract the audience 😉
I’ll keep you posted

Thanks Serge!
As always good advise. Will go and try to do this tomorrow, when I have some time available in the evening. Will definately create a movie when finished and post.

I know that I come back to you all the time, but one more question, and then the DVD is finished! 😉
Now I was able to include the backcover in the DVD model. However, I see the backcover on the inside of the backcover, and only vague/dark on the true backcover. Now, I can probably adjust this with the lighting, but did you make a separate layer for the inside of the backcover (on which the CD is attached) so I can make this black and non-transparent of the outside of the backcover. Still a clear story?
Thanks!

Serge, now really final question: I put my texture in new composition as Background Texture. However, when I do your 1st step in your movie (Layer map 8), I don’t find nr. 10 Back Cover. Only 10 BG. How can I add my Back Cover composition?
The rest works! 😉

Serge,
one final question and you’ll never here of me again! 😉
I want to rotate the DVD 360 degrees. How do I assign the backorder image (I already have it in appropriate size) to the back solid of your DVD model?
Thanks! and best 2006

Thanks Serge,
exactly what I was looking for. As hobbyist…it can take so much time to develop the wheel for the 2nd time. Your effort is of great help!

Hi mstleger,
thanks for your reply. I indeed posted it several times, since I was wondering why no reply whereas I would consider this something that some of us hobbyists bump into. I have seen a thread describe and supplying the base materials for a cd but not for DVD. I’ll try your option as well as visit this website and see how much cash to spend.
Thanks again!
Erik
