    that’s really unfortunate. apple needs to release a 64bit version of Quicktime for Windows.

    i created the piece in 3D … i just need final cut to output it on a digibeta! the footage is 30FPS!

    720p or 1080i (or p) are two different HD resolutions … the advantage of 1080i (or p) is just that it got more information which concludes in better quality …

    if you have the possibility to shoot your stuff in 1080 (or p) i would go for that!!!

    yes … everything is checked … all layers are 3d layers and accept shadows is turned on …

    try it out by yourself guys … put 3 layers along the z axis (with space between them of course) and put a spotlight with small cone angle in front of the first one so that it just hits the middle of layer … the light illuminates all 3 layers …

    if you activate the shadows the illumination becomes darker … but the light is still shining through …

    yes … it is a 3d layer … and shadows are activated (both on the light and layers) but still its shining through 🙁

    light transmission is set to 0% … still the light is coming through and illuminates all layers behind it …

    even if i set everything to 100% nothing happens … really confused now!
