are you sure you are on 13.0.1? This pretty much sounds like a problem in Media 100 V13, which should have been fixed in 13.0.1. Also make sure that your other components (Aja driver, OS, QuickTime) are at the required stage for 13.0.1

As another workaround you could do a “Export from Edit Suite” e.g. as a self contained file, and reimport that into your system. This should not take long, and maybe it fixes your problems when trying to master the new file to tape.

DV and DVCPro are identical in NTSC land, but different in PAL (different color encoding).

Yes, it does. Try right-clicking on one of the clips in the timeline and chose “Get Clip Info” at the bottom. Look at the Codec settings for this clip

You should do a search on how to create an “Alpha Channel” in Photoshop. That´s what you need to get transparency into your files.

“Repair permissions” won´t help you at all, since this is only a function that can be done on the startup drive. It fixes the read/write permissions of some system files. You could perform a volume check in DiskUtility to see if there are problems, and usually this should not harm your drive.

The best way to fix it is to record good audio. Seriously, it is really difficult to fix these things in Post, while most of the time they would be pretty easy to do during shooting.
One thing you could do is to try a combination of EQ, Compressor and Noise Gate to get rid of the reverb, but while you can enhance it somewhat the results usually are not great. Maybe even much better than before, but still the result won´t sound good.

I don´t know this camera, and from its brochure I am not convinced that it can play out HD-SDI signals (it does while recording, but I am not sure that it does during playback/VTR operations). If it does, then you need to set up the Video out to play out HD-SDI, and you connect this to the HD-SDI in of your Kona card. The deck control should happen via FireWire, so you set up Deck control to FireWire in the Media 100 prefs, and Video in to HD-SDI and whatever format you shot (most likely 29.97).

You can acquire HD via HD-SDI (if you have a hardware card like a Kona board) or HD Components.
