I’ve rendered the clips THEN saved the project and exported the xml to premiere.

I’ve managed to get the right files into premiere,
but there’s some issues with some clips that has some speed changes…

now i’m wrapping the files in ProRes, let’s see what happens…

I want the wire to form the word in the middle, writing letter by letter…

Yeah i know, i wrote that just to’ say that in the original file there’s no banding.

I’ll post in the compression forum, maybe it’s better….

The output will be a pc monitor.
I’ve tried different formata with Adobe media encoder, and the best result is .mov h264, but there’s no options for two pass…
With compressor same problem, a lot of banding.
So i’ starting to’ think that the bit depth is the problem… I’ve got no banding at all with prores 4444, just a little bit with 422 (hundreds of millions color).
I’m starting to go crazy with that file…
I’ll try some of the encoders you Are using…

i’m using adobe media encoder. But cannot find the option to use high10 profile….

well, I don’t have to deliver the videos to specifically to someone right now, i’m creating a portfolio for the photography studio i’m working in.
We need to output all the videos (still photo sequences) to show them to the client.

So I need a 1080/720 version to show with the laptop, and a low res version to send via email.

The fact is that Prores 4444 can handle the gradient without banding, but it’s a very large file and only quicktime opens it (at least, on the macbook laptop).

Is there a HD format that supports 16bit RAW images without banding, with a good compression and easy to share with other applications without installing prores codecs?

And for the low res version, what do you suggest? h264? Just that or MOV with h264?

Yes, i’ve got a lot of question (and maybe are basic topics for you) and i’m sorry, but we are entering the video world right now, we are photographers! 🙂

well, i’ll use the video on the macbook to present the job to the client or send it via email/load on ftp server.
So i’m looking to create a 1080/720 version (but not to heavy like ProRes4444) and a 720×404 or 640×360 smaller video.

I’ve made some tries with media encoder, i’ve seen that there are two h264 formats… one is H264, the other is MOV with h264 codec… which one should I use?? it seems that MOV looks better…
