    Hi

You can copy any setting and then you can adjust whatever you want. I would do it by this way:

    1. Set In and Out point in your Timeline
    2. Export Using Compressor
    3. Press Presets button and then go to any MPG2 folder (maybe 90 min HighQ Encode)
    4. Copy this setting with the duplicate button (on top-right)
    5. At the bottom you can set all your settings with the Encoder and Geometry labels.
    6. Then apply this setting and run.

Otherwise you can try to do it in MP4 format. Visit http://www.apple.com/trailers and see the HD features.

    Hope it helps!

October 4, 2005 at 9:12 pm in reply to: Quick and fast LS RS and LFE downmix settings?

I suppose you want to mix 5.1 channels to Stereo. The better way to do it is to decrease LS and RS 3 db and 6 db for the LFE channel. It’s necessary to decrease 3 db the CENTER channel too. “On the quick and dirty” but it works.

    Hope it helps.

I think the faster way is just exporting it using compressor but from the FCP timeline.

    Hope it helps

    Hi

I have a Deckling Extreme and it works perfectly. You can monitoring, edit to tape… There are lots of configurations in the SD series (Standard, Pro, Sp and Extreme) This hardware is not very expensive and runs ok.

    Good luck and good choice

    Hi

Try editing your video in a FCP timeline and then exporting with Compressor, I’ve done this sometimes and it works without rendering. Be careful it’s a slow render

    Hi

Try Quicktime with Sorenson Video 3 Codec, mpeg2 or mp4. I think these are the best ones.

    Good Luck
