    It’s always the stills. I’m not sure what the exact limit is, but I think anything over 5000 px drives FCP to the edge.

    this usually happens (to me at least) when I’m using still images that are too big. anything over, say 4000 pixels and FCP gives up. if you’re using images, resize

    sorry to hijack this thread a bit, but i just keep hearing good things about the new premiere. whats the downside? if it’s so dreamy, why aren’t we all flocking to adobe right now? is it just to keep standards / compatibility?

    i apologize, for i hadn’t searched the forum before posting. i just did, learned about lock and load, got the demo, experienced it’s awesomeness and purchased it. its pretty fantastic and not crazy expensive

    no prob, thanks 🙂

    only thing is, it’s a bit of pain to add 2 keyframes every time you want a fade. def takes more time than APPLE+T…… can you save this as some sort of animation preset?
