    Thank You! This really helped.

  • Yes, sequence settings match clip.

I tried another export with keyframe intervals set to 24 and still got the same result.

  • I have done VBR 2 pass and still same results. No really fast movements or anything. Just people walking down the street. Opening doors etc…

Below are 2 screenshots. One is the export settings and the other is a frame grab from that exported file showing the interlace.

    EXPORT SETTINGS:

    RESULTS:

  • Here is an example. After this export it still was interlaced.

  • I did that and it still looked interlaced. I created a new sequence…dragged a clip and matched clip setting to sequence settings. Exported H264 and it still has interlaced lines.

Not sure what I’m missing here…

  • Well the problem is that the primary use for this is web and we are going to show it during a presentation but it will be playing off a laptop.

I’ve found a workaround which is to export through premiere then send to MPEG Streamclip which has a deinterlace filter. That works but I’d rather not have to make that extra step.

Is there another way to export through premiere and it have it look normal on a computer? I don’t see any de-interlace filter. I’ve also right clicked the clip in the timeline and set field options to deinterlace but that doesn’t seem to work.

OK. Yeah. It looks better in VLC.

    Thank You!

  • Ahhh I see. Yes it must not have DSLR Zoom for canon. That’s a shame. It does have some nice features like focus assist and peaking. but I guess I can just use mirror mode and check the exposure etc… on the LCD screen.

    Thank you for the response.

    Nope I am in 480i 30fps

It works fine if I use Ustream Producer but not if I just try to use the website.

No body is pulling my leg. I have the raw clips here on my hard drive which I personally gave the editor. I am 1000000 percent sure it was not shot with a high speed camera. 60fps at the VERY most. I know the person who shot these clips personally. He could never afford a high speed camera. haha.

It looks like it is some very clever work in After Effects. Maybe some rotoscoping, mixed with a warp/distort. I just would like to know how it was achieved.

But please believe me when I say that this was NOT shot with a high speed camera.
