I can handle 1080p 50p MTS, MP4, MOV clips with effects applied with no problem, in realtime. I switched back to MTS clips for the moment, I’ll contact you through support if I’ll try again in the future.
Thanks

They do play in QT Player, but not very well, and they start getting juddery and frreezing after a while.
I could transcode of course, but the reason I’m evaluating Clip Wrap is because I’d like to rewrap (not transcode) MTS files into MOV so that I can grade my Premiere edits later in DaVinci Resolve.
I have this codec installed, may this be the problem? https://eww.pass.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/dload/avccam_impt/dl_e.htmI’m on Mac OSX 10.6.8

Hi, I’m trying the latest version of ClipWrap with some clips. With the previous version MTS to MOV wrapped files performed very bad in Premiere CS6, so I tried the new version and followed the instructions involving Terminal commands, but the newly-rewrapped MOV just don’t work at all, I can get barely a frame of preview or black screen or Premiere hangs out forever and I have to force quit it. As soon as I “touch”a newly rewrapped clip, even other MTS and MP4 clips which used to work flawless become unresponsive, and I have to restart Premiere to get everything working back. I tried undoing the Terminal command, restarting, but there’s no way to make them work.
Any suggestion? Clips are 50p, may this be the problem? Thanks

Wow Ann, that was rude. Shouldn’t forums be there to make people help each other?
Anyway, on Mac I simply solved the problem for AE by going into the .app package content and deleting the folder associated to the language I wanted to switch FROM (Italian in my case). One done that the app switched to default English.https://forums.adobe.com/message/2886701

Thanks for the hint, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work. The camera keeps on getting back to the unscaled path as soon as I move from the current time position. No matter if I have the auto keyframe activated. The path doesn’t seem to scale together with all the other object, anyway.
Maybe I’m missing something very basic …f

The problem only occurs when I nest the composition into the timeline: if I place directly the eps there’s no problem. But I have to nest because there is a masking animation in the subcomp, an animation which I couldn’t reproduce directly on the main timeline.
Is there any dipendence with the subcomp size? I mean, if the subcomp size is for instance 720×576 (the size of frames I’d get if I’d render separately the subcomp) the same comp, nested in the timelime, should be resolution-indipendet, shouldn’t it? I mean, the objects inside the subcomp should be interpreted on the main timeline as if they were on the timeline, and the nested subcomp shouldn’t behave like having 720×576 resolution-limited clip, right?

Yes dwaynne, I tried them, but no luck!
It seems it’s a limit of AE.Here are some snaps of the problem:

Ooh, thanks Mylenium! So it seems there’s no way to fix this. Yes, I tried with/without depth of field but the problem was still there.
It seems so strange to me that an advanced tool like AE can have such a limitation! I mean, I’m not doing anything special except rotating in 3D a vectorial rainbow. I’ll try to rasterize it at high resolution and then see if I can fix it.Thank you for your help!
P.S. great site!
