I already captured the XHA1 footage at ProRes 422 1440×1080.
I only have a little bit of the Mark II footage I am using. Should I change the sequence settings?

I am wondering the same question in this moment: I shot most of my stuff on the XHA1 but have a bit on the MarkII. What format should I edit in?

Should I change the XHA1 footage? Now I have it in Prores where I want to edit, but will it look bad with the 1920×1080 Mark II stuff? Both are 24 fps.

So, I went ahead and converted the files using Mpegstream into ProRes 422 unscaled. The issue I am realizing is that I shot in different sizes (1920×1080/1280×1080/640×480) and 24,30,and 60 fps. So I am basically trying to edit together shots in all these different formats…

The work I am doing will show on a large screen (in the museum of natural history, in 2 weeks!!!!) any tips would be appreciated about this formatting issue….

Thanks. So, does that mean that all the work I did is lost? Is there anyway to tranpose the cuts I made/edits I’ve done on top of the new files?

Also, how do you recommend I convert it?

I am struggling with this issue. Before I realized I had to convert my 7D stuff to ProRes I put about 30 hours in editing the stuff down…

So now I realize I have to convert the footage to something. I have FCP 6, one that doesn’t support their new fix to use the Log and Capture feature.

How do you think I should convert the stuff to a usable format?
