Thanks guys. The client also wants each drawing to kind of wiggle, but only the lines to wiggle. Not to move around. Any tutorial or advice to do that? Thanks again.

Thanks guys. I know they use FCP 7, which is what I’ve always used. I just have always worked alone and never had to use any XML files or EDLs. I’m assuming these are a couple things I would need to refresh on, but the rest I’m sure will be okay. Thanks for the responses!

  • Ok, will do that. Thanks!

    Scott,

Originally the video was cut to the beat of the music underneath and it made sense. Is that irrelevant at this point? Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the critique. Yes the audio is a scratch track. We will have hired talent do the final VO. Unfortunately, I can’t do much to address the script as it is what the company has decided on. I will see if I can push them to change the wording. It opens with the logo, but I may bookend it and I like the idea of keeping it on the screen throughout the video. I don’t have a lot of great testimonials to work with, but I can’t definitely trim them up. This is still the rough cut obviously. I will add lower-thirds to identify the testimonials. Again, I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, because I got the Voice Over after sending them a cut, it was a little more of a challenge. They were supposed to construct a VO from the cut footage. However, because it’s a pretty short and generic VO I can’t decide if the images work in the same order. If you wouldn’t mind critiquing this piece, I would greatly appreciate it. Because they are on a budget, I don’t know that I can rework the entire thing.

Actually figured it out so if anyone runs into a similar issue, I just had to feather the edges before nesting and sometimes even cropping the slightest would help. Thanks!
