    Weird!

The first thing I would suggest is to go into your project panel and conform all of your footage to your final output frame rate, which I assume will be 29.97fps. To do this:
    – First, save a safe copy of your project, then…
    – Select a 30fps footage item and right-click on it and select “interpret footage > main…”.
    – Under frame rate choose “conform to frame rate:” and enter 29.97.
    – Click OK.
    – Now select that same piece of footage again and right-click and select “interpret footage > remember interpolation”.
    – Select all of the footage items in your project and right-click and select interpret footage > apply interpretation.

Hopefully, that will get everything synced up.

    Hope that helps

  • Yeah, it is a bit of a tangled mess with all of the expressions and precomping and so forth. Anyway, I’m glad you found another solution, even if it wasn’t the one you wanted. That’s the way it goes sometimes.

  • You may have the zoom or something set to an extreme value that’s causing the problem. Have you tried turning off your main camera and just adding a new camera with default settings (use one of the presets like 35mm) and see if that helps?

Is the 3D button turned on for the nested 3D object comp? If so, try turning it off and/or resetting the position and anchor points to default.

  • Did you set the 3d object to use the AE camera in the effects window? If that doesn’t work then maybe delete the camera in the 3d object’s comp.

    Try using this search term:
    .dif file format

It pulled up pages of information.

  • Hey Steve,
I tried it on my PC with CS5 running on Windows 7 and it worked fine. I was able to sample colors from images opened with windows photo viewer, thumbnails in the explorer window, web pages, etc. with no issues.

You could convert the paint strokes to masks by copying/pasting or autotrace like in this tutorial:
    https://library.creativecow.net/articles/kurkoski_tim/paint_to_mask.php

Then you can scale as much as you want.

Or create a large version of your drawing.

Also, changing that setting will not have any effect on any open files, so close all of your open files then change the setting and then open them back up and it should fix it.
