I still have mine and wont sell it. If I did I wouldn’t be able to play back or recapture from tape.

Any 4:2:2 camera will be better than 4:2:0. I’ve shot green screen with the AF-100’s AVCHD codec and it was fine. The hardest part of doing green screen is knowing how to light the talent, the screen, and the distance the talent is away from the screen. If you do all the right things when you shoot it. Post will be a breeze.

Another option is go with Premiere Pro CS6 and dont transcode anymore. I made the switch and now work native with AVCHD and anything else I throw at it. Transcoding.

Defiantly try out better lenses. The new Lumix 12-35 and 35-100 are sharp, fast and naitive. Try Zeiss ZE or ZF lenses. Great contrast and sharp. Good glass is essential to get the most out of any large sensor camera.

The AF-100 is discontinued and is replaced by the AF-100a. The new model has a few updates.

Panasonic showed a prototype 4K s35 modular camera last year at NAB. I’m not that interested in yet another s35 camera. As an AF-100 user with MFT lenses I would prefer an updated Micro Four Thirds sensor with P2 AVC Intra for starters. If they could get the same out of the sensor that the Black Magic camera has that would be a winner.

Hopefully we will see a new AF-200 but probably not until next year. The AF-100A is what we will see soon here in the US. It has 10bit out of SDI and focus magnification. Also comes with the paid firmware upgrade that could be added to the AF-100.Not much else is known about the AF-100A model.
