Ok,

I see what happens now.

The tape captures until the outpoint. Then it rewinds the tape and starts capturing from the inpoint again.

When I click on the clip in the bin and go to batch capture The in and out points get set correctly.

One thing to note is that when I originally captured the tape I did not set an out point. The tape ends at about 53min of a 60 min tape.

Any ideas?

You can also enter trim mode, then right click and a menu containing slip and slide mode will be available to you.

As for extend mode, this is only available in Xpress Pro.

yea,

I’v seen that the monitors that actually have sync, blue only, ect. range in a price that is way over my budget. Im just gonna go with a decent one in my price range and take real care calibrating it.
