Trouble with EDL manager…
Hi,
I’m trying to get a sequence from my Media 100 and bring it into Avid Xpress Pro 4.6. No matter what kind of EDL I output, EDL Manager crashes as it tries to read it. Is there any other way around this? I don’t have the OMF option on Media 100, and I’d really like to be able to edit my sequence a little bit, so exporting a huge QT movie doesn’t work for me, either.
I mistakenly thought that having all of the original media, this would be a snap: use EDL to move, then re-dig on the Avid. Leave it to Avid to find a way to make EDL’s more complicated.

As with all specifications, it could be the way it was created or the way it is being read that could be causing the problem. What type of EDL are you creating on Media 100? Have you tried a couple different kinds? Have you tried a simple 3 straight cut version of an EDL to see what works then work you way up from there?
