If it hasn’t happened before or since chalk it up to a one time anomolie. For the future keep your eye on the display screen and note any change in the time remaining window as an indication of a slower speed.

Actually you want them to fit into the transmitter. Any of the ones you listed will work once you get the right connector attached. For Lectro you’ll need a TA5F.

All the phones mentioned will do a good job. Sorry but trying to tell you what you’ll like best is like telling you how you’ll like your steak done. Bang for the buck wise for $100 you can’t beat the Sony 7506.

Shotguns are for outdoor use because they don’t play well with interior spaces and reflections of sound from walls, floors, etc.
The mic in the picture looks like a Scheops CMC 641 or a Sennheiser MKH 50 both are hypercardioid pattern mics. They are the two top dialog mics for almost every feature film.

If you can take your macbook to a place that sells headphones and has a listening station and see what sounds best to you. Be aware that your laptop may not have enough headphone power to do justice to some models so a headphone amp may be needed.

Unless a lav is specifically listed as a dynamic mic it’s going to be an electret condenser requireing anywhere from 1.5 to 5 volts of dc power to make the lav work. A true condenser mic needs at least 12-48v phantom power and older condensers use something called 12v T power.

Try mounting the mic upside down to reduce some of the sibilence.

Unless your computer supplys 1.5-3 volts dc voltage to power the ME2 it’s not going to work.
