I have nothing to input but I just wanted to say thanks for this whole thread. I was having the exact same issue as you were and I am so thankful you guys figured out the alignment in controls tab only and word wrap off.

Okay, I will have to try to find some finacning to afford all this. Do yo have specific Lectrosonics mics you would suggest? There are a ton to choose from on their site.

Okay so if it is just a matter of making it easier then that’s fine. I have never had an issue with syncing up to a clapper. I’ll be able to tell if it is out of sync as long as the audio doesn’t drift.
Okay, so I agree that the mixer would be wonderful but I was planning on recording each separately anyways and mix in post especially since it’s that much more money i may not be able to afford.

I would eat soup instead of becoming a male prostitute to afford the meat. 🙂 I see your point really, but there has to be line drawn for each individuals budget.

Do I really need one with timecode? Won’t I be fine if I just use a clapper and sync up the audio with the video?
Will a $1300 mixer really make that much of a difference?
Presuming my budget for all this is $3000 what should I get? That automatically rules out the mixer.

Right but the problem is that the Mark in and Mark out buttons are inactive and nothing happens when I click on them. So nothing will happen if I click on log clip because I cannot log clips. EVerything else works fine and I can capture the entire footage, just can’t log and capture individual clips
