Wow… Just when I thought I knew all there was to know about Final Cut!

I’ve been editing in FCP for going on 6 years now and have always been frustrated by having to individually change each clip’s level. Thanks for the “Paste Attributes” tip, wish I would have found this post a loooooong time ago 🙂

Same thing just happened to me, SO ANNOYING! I’m pretty sure I fumbled a shortcut but I have no clue what keys I hit to switch it back. The canvas window now defaults to the white alpha for every sequence until you switch it back to RGB. Easy enough to switch, but if I have to do it every time I open a sequence it’ll drive me mad!

I’ll probably get nothing else done on this project until I rat out the varmint shortcut and get it back in order.

I just experienced the same problem. Ram preview was working fine all day and then suddenly A/V went out of sync. After tweaking every preference setting imaginable, I tried closing / re-opening the project, still off… I tried relaunching AAE, still off. Finally I just restarted my computer and that fixed the problem.

Funny how a restart was the last thing I thought to try–I don’t think I’ve had to restart my computer to fix a glitch ever since I switched to a Mac 5 years ago! Back in day when I was using a PC (a time I refer to as the pre-enlightenment, stone-age years of my life), restarting was common practice. Now it’s just annoying.
