Any good replicator runs your images through an Eclipse first so you should be OK once it passes that stage. But please get check discs first before the run. Had a client recently who waived that and ran 40K bad discs.

It sounds OK but there’s no way to give you a definite answer from where Im sitting. Just make sure you get check discs before the final run and play on several players first ….this is definitely not an option.

As long as Layer 0 is larger than Layer 1 and the break point is set as non-seamless, it should. Not sure how many of these re-authors you’ve done or how experienced you are with the spec but, personally I would have the images verified first through Eclipse /MEI.

Use MPEG Stream Clip to convert you VOB files to a ProRes and edit away

I use MPEG Stream Clip on a daily basis for this kind of stuff. What codec are you converting to? Should be an uncompressed or lossless codec like ProRes

Is this for duplication or replication? They are different. What did you use to author this disc? You need to add a chapter point somewhere at the mid way point and make sure it non-seamless as well.
