Check out Andrew Kramer again, and instead of going straight to His featured tutorials, look at his basic AE training. Very sound and will teach you pretty much all the fundamentals and basics fro FREE!

Regent University and CBN; I believe have a program called Zero Gravity that has short courses like that
in Virginia Beach, don’t know if they will come to you or not though…this link isn’t an exact match but should get you going in the right direction.

Welp, the biggest problem I’m having with Encore right now is that I have some menus created in Ps with animated backrounds created in AE, I have the menus set to loop forever and I have the buttons set to animate. The menu will loop once then after on the second pass the DVD stops. Sometimes while in the project during preview Encore may even crash.
Any Suggestions?

For a quick response.
Yes I understand now, what you’ve explained I have done, however my menu is a motion menu…
so I would need that transition to crossover two different clips; alpha channel in use on both clips to make a transition happen as one clips ends (menu still in motion as transition occurs).That is my dilema, but from your explanation of a using frame grab, it seems as though my wish will not (at this time) be a possibility and I might have to use a work around.

Thaks Joe for your response, but I’m not sure I understand would I create the enitre project in Preimere or AE then Import in Encore?
I started building an Encore project from finished clips, and also made a transition as an avi file – is this not going to work?
