Hi Joey,
Here are screen shots with the full UI. The first is the final comp. The second is the PreComp for the cube where I’ve assembled the sides and feeds the main comp. The third is the construction of the sides that feeds all the cube assembly comp. Thanks again for your help, Eric.

Hi Joey,
What do you mean by screen caps?

Also, the cube, which is the object I’ve got in the scene isn’t drawing correctly in the camera view; the top is missing. It is drawing correctly in the custom view…
Thanks again,

Hi,
I figured it out. I made the preComp with shot and 3D element. I copyed the layer with stabilized keyframes and put it under the preComp and turned it off. I pickwhipped from the PreComp’s anchorPoint to the stabilzed footage’s anchorPoint in the layer underneath. I put a negative sign in front of the expression. This negated the stabilization, returning the shot with its 3D element to it’s original zero stabilization.
Thanks,
Eric

Hi Adriano,
Thanks very much for your suggestions. Along with mask automation script, there was another that allowed the global key frame changes I was looking for. Between the two of them it’s going to really speed up my masking.
Thanks again,
Eric

Hi, I tried this:
The manual says that expressions can’t be used directly to affect a mask path, but that mask path can be linked to other properties to affect it. So, I made a layer called Mask Repo 1 and pickwhipped the mask path of mask 1 to the position property of layer: Mask Repo 1. I was hoping then “to change the position on Mask Repo 1 to globally reposition the keyframes of Mask Path 1. But, I get an error message, which says: AE warning: “Object of type 1024 found wheer a Property is needed.”
This is the expression produced by pickwhipping the position property of Mask Repo 1: “thisComp.layer(“Mask Repo 1″).transform.position[0]”
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Eric
