I did try reinstalling MB Looks. It actually acts funky with some FX Factory filters as well. I don’t see any signs of bad graphics card other than these filter issues. I have NVIDIA GE FORCE 8800 GT. Mac is 4 years old.

Any recommendations for graphics card that can handle Full HD with filters?

Easy setup for DV-NTSC

Doing basic key framed motion. Mostly slowly growing still images and moving objects across the screen. The problem occurs most when I have a basic text layer or Livetype layer superimposed on top of a still image background that is slowly growing or shrinking. But also occurs with no additional layers superimposed.

These jumps occur on all monitors (broadcast and otherwise). This is a new problem since upgrading to FCP 5. I can see these glitches even on the computer screen…not sure it’s a function of a low-res monitor. Been using my setup for 7 years with smooth results until now. And actually…if I play it out in preview mode, it seems to run smoother than when it is rendered or exported.
