Yes export in an uncompressed format preferably QuickTime in this case and then run through Cinec encoder for Pro Res.

I have not seen CUDA or Open CL GPU acceleration with any version of MC nor do their Graphic card spec requirements support such. The only acceleration Avid has stated with MC was Open GL which would be effects only and wouldn’t follow the same rules and GPU acceleration

All of the Geforce cards up to and including the Titan work fine with Media Composer. GPU acceleration is decided by the specs on the card which are easy to compare on Nvidia’s website. Look at Cuda Cores and Memory bandwidth. As for Program comparisons there have been many on PPBM7 and the PPBM5 website with Adobe. The Quadro cards are never at the top. You can also see what the Octane users are using as well. That is very telling.

Do you have the hardware MPE on or off? If the Hardware MPE is on then switch it to Software MPE mode and then export the sequence. See if it will export.

Media Express would be a better capture option with this anyway since the load is very small and far less likely to have issues. Is there any reason you cant just use that?

Did you check for a Firmware upgrade on the camera by installing the Blackmagic Camera tools with the camera plugged in USB?

Yes those were the output settings I wanted. Turn the HDMI overlays to off. If that doesn’t work change the record framerate to 29.97. If that still doesn’t work change the record settings to 30 frame.
