    Thanks I found it!

Might give it a spin once I get the time…

    Say, Warren.

I wanted to give Resolve a spin, but the lite version on their site is only available for macos 10.8.5 or later.

I’m running 10.6.8 – you wouldn’t happen to know if there is an older version of Resolve that could work for me?

meaning, if I put my render out settings to 32bit, that might help, even if I render out to Apple ProRes?

I did put my render out settings to 16bit…

    hmm.

Well I´ve tried purging all memory before starting my render cue, without any luck.

As for the version, I´m running v.11.0.2.11 of CS6 …

It is an established fact. Without touching the higlights inside the RAW dialogue box, there is no flickering.

    Thanks for the input!

How do you think this could help? I mean, I get the flicker in RAM preview as well as in rendering it out as Apple ProRes or with whatever else codec for that matter.

Thanks Bob, though I wonder how stabilizing the shot can solve my problem.

And Warren, I might just try your solution, I just hope the learning curve with Resolve isn’t too steep.

But it’s still frustrating, is there no one out there that has run into this problem, or can tell me why this problem occurs?

    No, I haven’t tried.

I’ve been working on AE for the last 10 years, and I’m reluctant to make such jumps.

Do you honestly think this could fix my problem?

    Thanks.

    No, no codec packs.

I went back to AE CS5.5, and there is no problem there… go figure.
