So thanks for all of your help guys. I exported the XML file from FCP 5.1.1, imported it into my FCP 4.5 its all there but all of the media is offline. I go to reconnect the media and it says the file doesnt have enough audio tracks to reconnect.

I have read this can be a problem because of the way FCP 5.0 handles audio. Are there any work arounds?

Thanks for your help.

Im still a little confused unfortunately. However, it has more to do with me needing to find out exactly which specs the post house needs my timeline to be in for me to go out 1080i (D5). I am assuming right now it will be the HDTV 1080i codec as in is the only 1080i option. and the 10 bit blackmagic compressor.

When I paste the sequence into the timeline. Is there a way to “scale to sequence” the entire sequence or do you have to do each clip individually?
