The scrub function wasn’t added until 2.0. I would suggest an upgrade to the current version.

It depends entirely on how the song is mixed. If any stereo effects (including reverb) have been added to the voice, it won’t work. You can’t unbake a cake and you can’t unmix a song. Some songs work very well, most don’t.

Yes, you can buy it from Adobe for $350. How stupid are you? Why on Earth would you think this MB would help you steal software that we’ve all paid for? Dummy…

There’s only one ‘studio reverb’ which is a low-latency reverb, ideal for multitrack and real-time. Then there’s ‘reverb’ and ‘full reverb’. Full reverb is very processor intensive, but has the most complete set of options for control. Reverb is a typical ‘verb’. Which one you use is up to you, but full reverb is capable of the best sound, if you feel like taking the time to set the options.

    1. Audio programs cannot work with mp3 natively…They all convert to uncompressed pcm (equal to wav).

    2. Audition does not burn data discs, only audio. Audio will, again, be PCM. You need to use something like Nero and make a CD-Rom.

I suggest getting to know Audition’s built-in compressor. Unless you’re after a specific sound (opto, SSL, API), Audition’s is as transparent as any!

When saving, make sure the ‘save extra non-audio information’ box is checked.

And what exactly are you looking for in a compressor? Any I’ve found that outperform the included one cost several hundred dollars.

Just highlight the pop only and take all the low end from it. Use the graphic or parametric EQ or the FFT filter.

ReWire has nothing to do with hardware…It’s for patching and controlling programs like Reason or Live via Audition. Yours should be as simple as selecting the proper hardware in your options. Is the card working with things like media player? If so, you may need ASIO4ALL, a free ASIO driver that works with WDM interfaces.
