Help. I’m way new at sound editing and just now getting a feel for my Adobe 1.5. I’m having a problem with a CD project. I’m working with about 20 hours of lecture recordings. They were recorded as stereo wav and I’ve converted them to mono mp3. But after I start burning in the CD Project window the program is automatically reconverting the files to stereo wav. Did I do something wrong in the original conversion or am I overlooking a setting option in CD Project. Thanks.

    1. Audio programs cannot work with mp3 natively…They all convert to uncompressed pcm (equal to wav).

    2. Audition does not burn data discs, only audio. Audio will, again, be PCM. You need to use something like Nero and make a CD-Rom.
