I’ve also rendered it out at a PNG sequence, the quality is absolutely fine in the png images! I imported those back into premiere in an effort to render into a H.264, still the same issues.

  • Issue has been fixed! Here’s the result-

The fix to the problem is as follows-

    Precompose layer
    Duplicate layer
Make null object and pickwhip the duplicate to the null
    Make null and duplicate 3D
Rotate null 180 through Y axis

Hope this helps anyone who has this problem!

  • Hi there, thanks for replying!
It’s done using imported pixels. I’ve attempted it, but no matter how much a fiddle I can’t get it to do the desired effect. I’m sure I’m doing a brain fart and it’s really simple.

See below for the general effect I’m getting.

Thank you! There’s still a slight problem, but a simple fix as popping a patch of colour between the two.

    Thank you!!!

Hi there- Right, I’m using AFX CS6, version 11.0.0.378, I rendered out still pngs of the puppet in the moving part of the image and imported it as a sequence in Premiere Pro CS6, where I put it up against the still background (which is also having noise issues). I rendered this out as an animated gif.

My OS is Windows 7- not sure what decimal this is.

I am working with solid colour. “Auto Color Display” is selected in my bit channels.
