Probably because you have overlapping UVW Maps, you need to unwrap your uvs to paint correctly. If that’s not the case, you could share the file to check the issue

That “flickering ” on the reflection is caused by the roughness, the only way to fix that, inside cinema, is to put your render settings really high, but that will increase your render time a lot.
You should try to render passes, and then, using a compositor like After effects, you could blur your reflections.

You need to convert your sculpture to an editable object before you move to Element 3D, so Select the sculpture >> Right click >> Current State to Object; after this, you will get new objects. Then Delete the old Objects and export the new ones
