well the thing is after i send it to compresser and burn it in DVD studio pro some parts of my film are pixelated, and other parts have artifacts in it. I tried the best quality 90 minutes… i think that when i compress it in compressor or when i burn to a dvd all my video quality problems start… the video looks fine off my FCP timeline.

I did what you said and looked at it.. It has improved but on Moving shots the video looks jittery and flickery… im using stock footage and footage we shot… so i know it has to be an export setting … what should my sequence settings be set to… ill try and export it again with different sequence settings.. the sequence setttings right now are set to DV/DVCPRO-NTSC 100% Quality. With a no field dominance setting.

export it as what.. and by program do you mean project? just save my project, or actually render the whole thing and export it as a certain file type. Sorry forgive me im still a beginner.. trying to learn as much as possible.

i looked at my rendered file in after effects its showing that there wasnt a field order… it would let me choose one… because there wasnt one set on original rendered clip… so when i export from final cut pro i look at my uncompressed settings and it doesnt say anything about exporting with lower field even.. im just going to re export it from final cut pro… what settings should i use?

    Frame Size: NTSC DV (3:2)
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: NTSC-CCIR 601/DV
    Field Dominance: Lower (Even)
    Editing Time Base: 29.97
Quicktime Video Settings: Uncompressed 10-Bit 4:2:2
    Quality: 100%

    Video Processing:
    Render in 8-bit YUV
    Motion Filering quality: Normal
Render Control: Filters, Fram Blending for Speed, and Motion blur are checked.
    Render: Fram rate 100%
    Resolution 100%

What i do is i export it as Uncrompressed 10-Bit and put it into a DVD Program and burn a DVD.
Then preview it on a TV
