I checked Matrox site https://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/
and it doesn’t mention media 100 in accordance with mxo2 mini software update for os x lion.
Mx02 mini is working (to my experience) only with os 10.6.7.
Who has the correct information?

Thanks again. By the way, when I imported xdcam files with Media 100HD codec the files became enormous. 82 GB became 1.85 TR.Is that normal?
Is there a way to keep the size lower? Do you recommend using a different codec ? That is my first project editing on media 100hd using
xdcam files and not a tape based material.

Thank you all for your kind help. Every thing is working fine and I have the xdcam
clips in my media100 time line.
I have another question – my project is m100 hd 1080i.
I want to use dv pal 720×576 in the time line and to keep it
in the original size .(not upscaling to hd). I need to make a split screen
with several clips from dv material.
Is that possible?

Thanks, It’s already installed and transferring to qt, but it seems that I still need
Quick time pro. I have qt 10 player and it does not gives the
possibility to export to m100. Is that the solution?

Hi k,
I’m enabling the audio when I exporting the clip.
After a lot of experiments I found (and I don’t know how to explain it !)
that if the audio prefe. of the mpeg1 is 44100 and not 48000
as my media 100 prog.is, and the video frame rate is 29.97 instead of 25- everything
turns to be ok.The compressor doing the conversion including the sound.
