media 100 and apple compressor
Hi there,
I have a problem when I trying to convert media 100 self contained clips
to mpeg1 using apple “compressor” software.Clips without audio are doing fine.
Clips including audio are failing to convert.
I’m using G4 1.25 sys 10.3.9 and m100 8.2.3.

Hi Zamor,
Just a quick question, are you enabling audio in the audio tab? It is off by default in the presets.

Hi k,
I’m enabling the audio when I exporting the clip.
After a lot of experiments I found (and I don’t know how to explain it !)
that if the audio prefe. of the mpeg1 is 44100 and not 48000
as my media 100 prog.is, and the video frame rate is 29.97 instead of 25- everything
turns to be ok.The compressor doing the conversion including the sound.
