Definitely check the handles and the project frame rates as mentioned above.

Having good sized handles is particularly important if you have done any time remapping. There is always a chance for discrepancies between Resolve and your editing software when it comes to time remapping/warping. Having a decent handle length (I use 2 seconds) generally avoids these issues.

  • You could also create a new video track, move all clips you desire to share the same correction to this new track, and then apply a track correction to just that track.

  • I initially thought the copy and paste method was the solution, but if you do that, it will also copy the tracking. This user is trying to MAINTAIN his complex tracking of windows, while copying the grade adjustments within the windows from one clip to the next.
I feel in my bones there is an easy answer to this, but I can’t summon it. I will try more caffeine and get back to you.

I think I worked it out.
After messing around, and trying everything I could think of, I resorted to trying things I’d never done before.
I eventually right-clicked on the sequence and saw the option to “refresh sequence.” I tried each of the options under refresh sequence with no luck, and finally tried selecting “ALL” under the refresh sequence dialogue.
That fixed it. Don’t know why or how, but it did the trick.

I use your power window technique as well, but I usually do a noise reduction rather than a blur. Blur is less resource intensive (won’t slow down the machine) but NR will be less visible.

That did the trick. Thank you so much!
