1) First choose the composition you want to render and Composition>Make Movie (or Ctrl+M)
this will open the Render Queue

2) Choose Composition>Add Output Module (in case it is not selectable, select the name of the composition you want to render in the render queue)

3) Set first output module to your PAL full size configuration

4) In the second output module enable the Strech checkbox, and specify required width and height (this will render original size and scale it)

* Note that you do not need to create a second output module if you only want full size or half size, it was added only that the movie will be rendered only once into two different formats/sizes/whatever

Hey Dan
I’m quite new to Encore, haven’t tried to add DivX files

But since you wanted permanent embedding here’s a link that shows how to do it:

it does not uses Encore at all, rather VirtualDub and VobSub

I didn’t understand from your post if you’re using Adobe encore or not
The main question is whether you want to add the subtitles permanently for your file (meaning that the subtitles are part of the video) or you want that in the dvd you’ll have the option to show subtitles

please specify which is the option you’re seeking so I’ll know how to answer your question

basically same method for camera can be implemented for lights, either by scripting or parenting

I’m not sure
maybe you can check and print a sample of CMYK squears to check that you hot them right and neither of the colors ran out

Other than that there are calibration methods I’m not really sure of and are specific for each printer (and also they usually not found in regular home printers)

I would’ve search google with: calibration
