Hi Lorenzo,
Be sure to set the ProAnimator project to be the same as your Sequence size in Final Cut Pro. This means, if your Final Cut Pro project is SD, then set the same project size in ProAnimator. Then, render out your animation, and import the movie into Final Cut Pro, and it should fit into the Sequence without any issues.

Hi Eric,
Right. We are definitely continuing our plug-in support for After Effects CS5. We are trying to make our new features work as flawless as we can get it in After Effects CS5. As soon as the plug-ins are ready, we’ll be sure to notify all our users!

You don’t necessarily need to use a Layer Map. You can save the Gradient in either Illustrator or Photoshop, then apply it as a texture map within 3D Invigorator/ProAnimator. Layer Maps are useful to use when you want to use an After Effects Pre-comp as a texture map, but is not necessary if you want to add a gradient (You could use a gradient pre-comp if you wanted to though).

Hi Aqeel,
Be sure you are applying 3D Invigorator to a Comp-sized Solid. If the Solid is not comp-sized, then the objects that you create may fall outside the comp preview window. In addition, when you first apply 3D Invigorator, you will see a 3D Invigorator start-up screen. If you click “Create a New Scene”, then you will have an empty scene until you go into the 3D Invigorator interface to create your objects. Then, after you are finished creating all the objects, click the “OK” button and you will be able to see all the objects in the After Effects Composition window.
If you are still having issues, please describe what steps you are doing, and which scene preview window you are looking at.

Hi Gerardo,
Sorry for the inconveniences. We’re working on the conversion the best we can, while integrating all the exciting new features we have in store for 3D Invigorator Pro. As soon as the plug-ins are available, we will send out an e-mail notice to all our users.

This is correct.
The append preset does append the preset at the end of your current animation. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi Eric,
You may want to try adding an Ambient light with 100& Light Intensity, and switch the 3D Flag setting so that it is using Comp Lights. This will make the Flag really bright, and remove the shadows, which will make the flag look a lot more cartoonish.

Hi Eric,
Although not quite the same, but Steve Holmes has created a similar look for his project for USA Cycling. You can check out his animation below:
https://zaxwerks.com/blog/2010/06/16/steve-holmes-helps-usa-cycling-on-the-tour-de-france/
The flag also has a cartoonish look using the American Flag. For your specific flag, you can try adjusting the Wind Direction while removing the Gravity (changing the value to 0). This should help your flag look more cartoonish.
Hope this helps.

Hi Greg,
What you’re running into is that the textures are getting lost during the multi-process rendering. To avoid this from import your texture map into After Effects, and set up the texture map as a Layer Map in the Effect Controls window. Then, load the Layer Map onto a material, and apply the material on your object. This should help with the flickering issue you’re seeing during the render.

Hi Edmond,
There will definitely be a overhaul to the GUI. The whole workspace will be customizable similar to how you use After Effects. You will be able to arrange every panel, change the size, and save/load different workspaces. In addition, there will be a vast amount of feature updates as well.
